Ndombele Likely To Return to French Ligue 1 After Parting Ways With Tottenham Hotspur

Tanguy Ndombele, who joined Tottenham Hotspur in 2019 for a record signing fee of around £55 million, is poised to return to the French Ligue 1 after parting ways with the London based club.

Tanguy Ndombele, who is currently aged 27 years, has not featured for Tottenham Hotspur since January 2022, making only 91 appearances in his over five-year period with the Spurs.

Tottenham Hotspur have a lot of fringe players whose service are no more needed at the club and one of those players is Tanguy Ndombele.

Spurs is currently negotiating to terminate Ndombele’s contract this summer, aiming to cut their losses and free up space on the wage bill.

Tanguy Ndombele has spent the last two and half years on loan spells in the Ligue 1 for Lyon, the Serie A for Napoli and the Turkish League for Galatasaray.

As Tanguy Ndombele will become a free agent soon, he is likely to return to play in the French Ligue 1.
