Reports say that Napoli’s new coach, Antonio Conte, plans to meet with Nigerian footballer Victor Osimhen. Osimhen has been in the news lately because teams like Chelsea, PSG, and Arsenal are interested in him.

It’s expected that Osimhen will leave Napoli, the 2022 Serie A champions, this summer as the club is open to his departure.
Conte wants to talk about Osimhen’s future with Napoli before the 2024/2025 season starts, especially with all the transfer rumors.

Osimhen has a big price tag of €130 million to buy him out of his contract, and Conte is likely to discuss whether Osimhen could stay despite this.
Because of the high price, teams like Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal have started looking at other players instead.
Right now, only clubs Al Ahli and Al Hilal seem really interested in him, while PSG isn’t trying to bid for him. Osimhen might stay at Napoli unless a team decides to pay the full price to get him.
