Napoli’s new coach, Antonio Conte, has his eyes on Romelu Lukaku as a potential replacement. Conte and Lukaku previously worked together at Inter Milan for two seasons, and their reunion could be on the horizon after Conte’s departure following the 2020-21 Scudetto victory.
Victor Osimhen was made a Member of the Federal Republic by President Muhammadu Buhari in May 2023. Osimhen finished in eighth place at the 2023 Ballon d’Or ceremony, becoming the first Nigerian to make the top ten.
Victor Osimhen was also named the African Footballer of the Year at the 2023 CAF Awards, the first Nigerian to receive this honor since Nwankwo Kanu in 1999.
