Antonio Conte, who previously worked with Gilmour at Chelsea, is keen to bring the Scotland international to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona for the upcoming season.
Despite Brighton and Hove Albion’s swift rejection of Napoli’s first offer, the Italian club remains undeterred.
According to reports, Napoli are determined to continue their pursuit of Gilmour and are preparing a new bid. Brighton are open to letting Gilmour go but are holding out for a more substantial offer.
