MrBeast Co-Host Ava Kris Tyson Resigns Amid Grooming Allegations

MrBeast co-host Ava Kris Tyson has resigned from the channel following allegations of grooming, which she denies.

The 28-year-old YouTuber, who has over 22,000 subscribers on her own channel, was accused of sending inappropriate messages to a minor when she was 20.

On X, Ava denied the accusations, stating, “I never groomed anyone.” She apologized for her “past behaviour” and revealed that she and MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, decided it was best for her to step away from the channel and social media to focus on her family and mental health.

Ava, who gained prominence through MrBeast’s channel—known for its large-scale stunts and philanthropic content—announced last year that she is a transgender woman undergoing gender-affirming therapy.

The allegations surfaced last month in videos accusing her of messaging a minor. Ava responded by clarifying, “To create a narrative that my behaviour extended beyond bad edgy jokes is disgusting and did not happen.”

She expressed regret for her past actions and social media posts, acknowledging that her old humor was unacceptable.

The alleged victim has defended Ava, stating, “These videos are massive lies and twisting the truth. Ava never did anything wrong and just made a few edgy jokes. I was never exploited or taken advantage of.”
