José Mourinho’s Fenerbahçe has successfully signed Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri from Sevilla, outmaneuvering interest from his former club, AS Roma.

The 27-year-old forward, who was a prime target for the Giallorossi, is now set to continue his career in Turkey.
According to Italian transfer expert Matteo Moretto, En-Nesyri is scheduled to undergo medical tests with Fenerbahçe today, marking the final steps in his transfer process.
Moretto shared the update on X, confirming that the striker will travel to Turkey to complete the deal.

Fabrizio Romano also reported that Fenerbahçe will pay over €20 million for En-Nesyri, solidifying their commitment to strengthening their attacking options.

The Moroccan international had been on Roma’s radar, but negotiations with Sevilla did not result in an agreement, leaving the door open for Fenerbahçe to swoop in.En-Nesyri’s move comes at a crucial time for both clubs.
Roma is actively seeking a new striker following the departure of Romelu Lukaku, who returned to Chelsea after his loan spell.
