During the holy month of Ramadan, a period of fasting and prayer for Muslims worldwide, Mohammed Salisu, a defender for the Black Stars, has shown his generosity. He has made significant contributions to the needy and orphans in Kumasi.

Salisu has made it a point to give back to society during this Islamic season. He has made donations of food and money to the Malama Sadia Abdulai foundation, which has enabled them to feed over 500 orphans.

In addition, Salisu has teamed up with Hajia Sadia Asuame to provide food for more than 300 underprivileged individuals in Kumasi. They have also arranged for medical care for those who are ill.

Salisu’s journey in football began with the Kumasi Barcelona Babies in Ghana. He made his mark in Europe in 2017 with Real Valladolid in Spain and has since demonstrated his skills with notable performances, including a three-year tenure with Southampton in England.
Currently, Salisu is in France playing for AS Monaco. While he has not yet established his own foundation aimed at societal improvement, his efforts during this Ramadan season are a step towards achieving this goal.
