In a recent interview on UTV’s United Showbiz, MOG Music diverged from the anticipated narrative of religious leaders openly endorsing such legislation.
Despite societal pressures, the singer-songwriter remained tight-lipped, expressing concerns about safeguarding his brand. In his own words, “I’ll just play the fifth.
I’m saying this to protect my brand. Because if I say “for”, people will talk, if I say “against”, people will talk. I’ll just be in the middle.”

MOG Music, known for his debut album “New Wine” and hit single “Making it Big” featuring Sarkodie, has garnered acclaim in the African Gospel music scene.
His refusal to publicly disclose his stance on the contentious bill reflects a strategic move to navigate the delicate balance between personal beliefs and professional image.
Throughout his career, MOG Music has collaborated and shared the stage with notable gospel artists, further solidifying his influence in the industry.
While his decision to remain neutral may invite speculation, it underscores the complexities faced by public figures in addressing sensitive social issues.
