Michael Essien has run away from his support for homosexuals in Ghana.
The Bison shared a post on his Instagram and other social media pages to show solidarity and support for the Homosexual Community in Ghana.

The post he made supported some of UK’s most prominent Ghanaians who have consented to condemn their former homeland for its stance on gay rights in what will be seen as an extraordinary show of diaspora power. Michael Essien Instagram post was widely condemned by the majority of Ghanaians who chanced on it.

The influential names in fashion, film, and media, including Idris Elba and the Vogue editor-in-chief, Edward Enninful, have signed an open letter in support of Ghana’s LGBTQ+ community. Naomi Campbell, although, not of Ghanaian heritage, has also
put her name to the letter.

However, the maestro has since pulled down his post from Instagram and Twitter pages for reasons best known to him and his handlers. He joins actress Juliet Ibrahim who first endorsed the LGBTQI and later deleted her post.
