Mia: Meet Gorka Marquez And Gemma Atkinson’s Daughter

In 2019  actress Gemma Atkinson and partner Gorka Marquez announced that they were expecting their first child.

Mia was born on July 4, 2019. Later that month Gemma posted a photo of her new baby in deep slumber, clad in a neatly knitted pink jumper. She was named Mia Louise which is the middle name of her mother.

“Our beautiful baby daughter arrived on Thursday 4^th July and myself and Gem couldn’t be happier”, Gorka revealed on an Instagram post. Despite the couple’s delectation, Gemma admitted she had a distressful labor.

“We had a bit of a traumatic time in labor which is one of the things obviously you can’t plan, you can hope for the best but you can’t plan anything”, the Emmerdale star said on Manchester-based Hits Radio in an interview. Mia is now two years old and looks all grown up in many recent pictures on her parent’s Instagram pages.

Gemma and Gorka met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017. They made their romance official via an Instagram post in 2018. The pair have been inseparable ever since.
