Meet Alice Munro’s Second Husband, Gerald Fremlin

Late Gerald Fremlin was the second husband of late Alice Munro, whom she married in 1976, after her divorce from her first husband, James.

Fremlin was a cartographer she knew way back from their university days.

She lived on a farm and later in a house in Clinton, Ontario, and co-owned a home in British Columbia with Gerald Fremlin.

Fremlin passed away in 2013. However, his legacy is marred by serious allegations. Munro’s daughter, Andrea Skinner, claims she was sexually abused by Fremlin from the age of nine.
