Nollywood actress Mary Remmy Njoku has shared important advice for women following the tragic news of two missing girls.

Celine Ndudim and Afiba Tandoh, a Ghanaian, were reported missing after traveling from Port Harcourt to Abia State on April 27 to visit a friend they met on Facebook. Unfortunately, their bodies were later found.
Reacting to this news, Mary Njoku urged women to avoid putting themselves in dangerous situations. She warned that in Nigeria, if something bad happens, the victim is often blamed.

Njoku expressed her sadness over this mentality and called for a change in how people think.
In her own words, she advised, “Dear Ladies, whatever you do, don’t ever be a victim in Nigeria. If you die, it will be seen as your fault. It’s very sad. We need to start doing better as a people and reset our minds.”
Njoku’s message is a wake-up call for everyone to be more cautious and for society to change its approach towards victim blaming. Her heartfelt advice is a reminder of the need for better safety practices and a shift in societal attitudes.
