During a recent conversation with White Pearl Studios, Edochie shared his belief that happiness is the ultimate goal of marriage, not societal expectations. He also mentioned that choosing to stay single is equally acceptable if it leads to contentment.

Edochie explained that marriage isn’t a compulsory aspect of life. If a relationship isn’t working, it’s better to part ways respectfully without causing harm to each other.
He added that if one finds someone else and decides to marry, they should go ahead. If the subsequent marriage doesn’t work out, they can leave and marry again. According to him, a person can marry as many times as they want, as long as it brings them happiness.

He also emphasized that people’s reactions are beyond our control. What brings happiness to one person might not be the same for another. Therefore, he advised not to let anyone dictate what’s good for you. Instead, one should discover what works best for them. If someone decides not to marry in their lifetime, that’s perfectly fine as long as they’re happy.
Edochie, who made news a few years ago due to his second marriage to Judy Austin, faced opposition from his first wife, May Edochie, who filed for divorce. The divorce case, which has attracted significant public attention, is still ongoing.
A few months back, Edochie introduced his second son with Judy Austin to his fans and followers. He shared photos of the young boy, named Pete Ndubuisi Yul-Edochie, on his first birthday, which was on April 22.
The actor, who now identifies as a pastor, revealed that his son was named after both his paternal and maternal grandfathers, one of whom is the esteemed actor Pete Edochie. He expressed his hopes for his son to achieve greater heights than his parents.
