Mark Mitchell Jr. is an American collegiate basketball player for the Atlantic Coast Conference team Duke Blue Devils. Mitchell grew up in Kansas City, where he attended Bishop Miege High School.

He averaged 21.6 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.8 blocks per game as a sophomore. Mitchell was named the DiRenna Award winner for the best player in the Kansas City region after averaging 18 points and six rebounds per game as Bishop Miege won the Kansas Class 4A state championship.

Mitchell started as a forward for Duke in his freshman year. During his freshman year, he started 35 games and averaged 9.1 points and 4.5 rebounds while shooting 46.9% from the field.
