Mark Mitchell Jr. is an American collegiate basketball player who competes for the Atlantic Coast Conference’s Duke Blue Devils. Mitchell grew up in Kansas City, Kansas, and went to Bishop Miege High School.

As a sophomore, he averaged 21.6 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.8 blocks. Mitchell won the DiRenna Award as the best player in the Kansas City region after averaging 18 points and six rebounds per game while helping Bishop Miege win the Kansas Class 4A state championship.
Mitchell started his first season at Duke as a forward. During his freshman year, he started 35 games, averaging 9.1 points and 4.5 rebounds while shooting 46.9% from the field.
