According media reports, Manchester United’s new offer includes £45 million upfront with an additional £5 million in add-ons, though it’s still likely to be turned down.
Further reports also reveal that Everton will almost certainly reject the improved bid despite Branthwaite’s desire to move and his agreement on personal terms with United.

The Merseyside-based club’s high valuation of Branthwaite, who has yet to prove himself to warrant such a price tag, has puzzled many observers.
This transfer saga is reminiscent of Harry Maguire’s protracted move from Leicester City to Manchester United in 2018, which was similarly drawn out and contentious.
As the negotiations continue, Manchester United fans hope for a resolution that strengthens their defensive lineup for the upcoming season.
