Manchester United Deal For Zirkzee Now Closed

Manchester United are on the verge of completing the signing of Joshua Zirkzee, edging out AC Milan, who had been tracking the striker for months.

Manchester United have agreed to cover the agent’s commission, which had previously stalled Milan’s efforts to secure the player.

Joshua Zirkzee’s impressive performances for Bologna during the 2023-24 season under Thiago Motta caught the attention of several top clubs, with Milan particularly keen since November.

According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Manchester United have reached an agreement with both Zirkzee and his agent.

Manchester United is prepared to pay the commission, considering it a worthwhile investment given the player’s talent and the €40m release clause.

Few strikers of Zirkzee’s caliber are available at such a price, making this deal particularly attractive for United.

With the deal nearing completion, it appears only a matter of time before Joshua Zirkzee officially joins Manchester United.
