Divin Mubama, whose contract with West Ham expired in June, has chosen to join Manchester City’s academy after declining a new deal with the Hammers due to concerns over his playing time.
The move requires Manchester City to pay compensation to West Ham, as Mubama is under 24.

Divin Mubama is an England U20 international star who made 12 senior appearances for West Ham last season and played a key role in their FA Youth Cup-winning side in 2023, where he finished as the top scorer with eight goals.
While he will primarily train with City’s Under-21 team, Divin Mubama is expected to get opportunities to train with Pep Guardiola’s first team.
Several other clubs, including Everton, West Brom, and Sunderland, have shown interest in Divin Mubama.
