They had six daughters: AttallahQubilahIlyasahGamilah, and the twins Malaak and Malika Shabazz, in order of their births

Attallah, the eldest daughter at 63, pursues an active career as an actress, author, diplomat, and motivational speaker.

Qubillah, aged 60, once worked as a proofreader at a law firm in Manhattan until difficult financial straits set in.

Ilyasah, 59, is a celebrated author, community organizer, social activist, and motivational speaker.

Gamilah, 57, has been actively involved with Malcolm X Legacy run by her sisters.

The youngest twins at 56 are Malaak, who is a human rights activist, and Malika, who has had several run-ins with the law for years.

Teaming up with the tech company Hingeto in 2017, the Shabazz daughters have established a clothing line dubbed Malcolm X Legacy as a tribute to their father’s lasting and priceless legacy.
