His Early Life

Born on 11th September 1977, in Champaign, Illinois Ludacris grew up as a single child without any siblings in Chicago.

He went to several schools because his family settled at different places.

At age nine, Ludacris joined a rap group and eventually, he wrote his first rap.

After graduating from high school, Ludacris went ahead to study music at Georgia State University.

Being an intern at Hot 97.5, in Atlanta, Ludacris proceeded to become a DJ at the same radio station, and eventually, he made a collaboration with Justin Timberlake on the song, “Phat Rabbit”.

Ludacris released a debut album that wasn’t successful but that did not deter him from chasing his career.

He further proceeded to produce other successful albums that made him very popular in the music industry.

He adopted acting as part of his career and with time he starred in a popular movie, “Fast And Furious” season 5 and 8 of the movie series alongside movie stars,  Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, and Vin Diesel.

His career has netted him a solid $25 million.
