He has become a hot topic in the news for surpassing a record that stood for 64 years, outdoing famous players like Kylian Mbappe, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Harry Kane.

At the age of 23 years, seven months, and 21 days, he is leading Hungary in their first match against Switzerland in Cologne.

Hungary’s head coach Marco Rossi chose Szoboszlai as captain back in November 2022, and he has been a key player in helping his team secure a spot in Euro 2024.

Hungary is approaching the tournament with high spirits, having gone through a 14-game streak without a loss. This streak only ended with a close defeat to the Republic of Ireland.

They made a comeback with a win of 3-0 against Israel in a friendly match last Saturday. A victory over Switzerland would give Hungary a solid chance to move forward to the knockout rounds of the tournament.
