Liverpool Reject Southampton’s £15m Bid For Youngster Fabio Carvalho

Liverpool have firmly declined a £15 million bid from Southampton for 21-year-old forward Fabio Carvalho.

Fabio Carvalho spent last season on loan at RB Leipzig and Hull City and he has attracted interest from the newly promoted Premier League club Southampton.

However, Liverpool made it clear that they have no intention of letting Fabio Carvalho leave on loan again, and any sale would require a significantly higher fee than Southampton’s current offer.

Fabio Carvalho has been a standout performer in Liverpool’s pre-season friendlies, starting all three matches on their United States of America tour.

Victories over Real Betis, Arsenal, and Manchester United saw him find the net and deliver sharp performances, particularly against the latter two.

With senior squad members like Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez returning late to the squad, Fabio Carvalho seized the opportunity to showcase his versatility and skill on the left wing and in the attacking midfield position.
