With Joel Matip departing Liverpool as a free agent this summer, the Reds might be in the market for a new centre-back. However, it remains uncertain if they will pursue Riccardo Calafiori.
Bologna’s technical director, Giovanni Sartori, has expressed the club’s desire to retain the defender but acknowledged that they might consider significant offers from outside Italy.
Sartori stated, “We will try to keep him, but if important offers arrive, we will have to take them into consideration. I don’t think he will go to Juventus; he will probably go to a different market.”
