Henry Lionel Ogus best known as Lionel Blair was born on 12 December 1928 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Lionel Blair was an English actor, choreographer, tap dancer, and television presenter.

Lionel was born to Jewish parents, Myer Ogus (a barber), and Debora “Della” Greenbaum. Lionel’s father emigrated from Russia to Canada to start a new life and his wife joined him shortly afterward.

Lionel Blair married Susan Davis on 21 March 1967, at Kensington Register Office. The famous English comedian, Bernie Winters was the best man.

Lionel Blair and Susan Davis celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in March 2017. They have three children and three grandchildren.
