In a heartfelt statement, LilWin’s management team, Weezy Empire, announced the postponement of the premiere, initially scheduled for Saturday, June 1. They explained that the decision was made to honour Richard’s memory and allow LilWin and his team to join the grieving family in their time of mourning.

“We believe it is important to show our respect and solidarity with the bereaved family during this difficult time,” the statement read. “The premiere of ‘A Country Called Ghana’ will be rescheduled, and we will communicate the new date to our patrons soon.”

Weezy Empire also assured ticket holders that their purchases remain valid and will be honoured on the rescheduled date. Further details will be provided as soon as they are available.
