American rapper, singer, and songwriter Lil Dicky, as he is professionally known was born David Andrew Burd on 15th March 1988 in Cheltenham Township into a working-class Jewish family.

He grew up in Pennsylvania where he attended elementary and high school. Of his school days, the rapper says that he got good grades but did not attract any girls. He then went on to pursue a degree at University of Richmond, Virginia where he studied business and marketing.
