Lewis Niles Black is an American actor, author, playwright, social critic, and stand-up comedian. He transferred to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he continued his studies in playwriting and became a member of the Student Congress, graduating in 1970.

Lewis Black wrote the musical “The Czar of Rock and Roll” in 1990. Lewis Black hosted the Comedy Central series “Lewis Black’s Root of All Evil”.

In 2015, Lewis Black lent his voice to the character Anger in the Pixar film “Inside Out” and will reprise the role in the sequel, “Inside Out 2”. Lewis Black is also a spokesperson for the Aruba Tourism Authority, appearing in television ads.
