English football manager Lee David Bowyer was once a professional footballer. He is Montserrat’s head coach at the moment.

Throughout his more than 18 years as a professional, he played as a midfielder for Charlton Athletic, Leeds United, West Ham United, Newcastle United, Birmingham City, and Ipswich Town.
Bowyer, who was raised in Canning Town, London, participated in junior sports with Senrab before becoming a schoolboy member of Charlton Athletic.
Aitor Karanka was succeeded by Bowyer as Birmingham City’s head coach on March 16, 2021. Bowyer agreed to a two-and-a-half-year contract.

In September 2023, Bowyer assumed leadership of the Montserrat national football team, emerging victorious in his first game against Barbados, 3-2.
