Today marks International women day and as part of plans to honour women across the world, the winner of BBNaija season 5, Laycon has penned down a wonderful message to celebrate them.

In a post sighted on his Twitter page, he described women as strong, compassionate and brave adding that they play a significant role in society hence, their efforts must not be taken for granted regardless of the situation.
Laycon’s message reads;
“To the strong, the brave, the compassionate, the defender, the absolute. Never to be taken for granted, never to be disregarded. Happy International Women’s Day”.

International women’s day is celebrated annually on March 8th to honour the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women across the world. It is also a focal point in the women’s rights movement, bringing attention to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence against women.
