Kylian Mbappé suffered a broken nose against Austria and that made him miss the Netherlands match. However, the 25-year-old forward has recovered sufficiently to play with a protective mask.
France manager Didier Deschamps confirmed Kylian Mbappé’s inclusion in the starting XI after a team meeting on Tuesday.

Didier Deschamps noted that while the mask doesn’t hinder Mbappé’s breathing, it does affect his vision to some degree.
Despite this, Kylian Mbappé participated in a practice session where he scored twice, affirming his readiness.
Having already secured a spot in the round of 16 with a win over Austria and a draw with the Netherlands, France aims to clinch the group’s top spot.
To achieve this, they must ensure a convincing victory against Poland and hope that the Netherlands do not win convincingly.
