Speaking via a Facebook Live broadcast on Sunday, June 17, 2024, Mickey accused the gospel group of unauthorized interpolation in their recent hit song, Defe Defe, which has gained significant popularity.

Expressing concern over what he perceives as a pervasive issue in the music industry, Mickey lamented the unauthorized use of copyrighted material by gospel musicians under the guise of religious expression.

I am not the type to let you go scot-free. I’ll give you an international lawyer. I will have you respecting me.”
