popular Kumawood actor Kwaku Manu visited highlife icon K.K. Fosu at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) following a devastating car accident involving Fosu, fellow musician Bless, and freelance journalist John Claude Tamakloe.

The tragic incident occurred on Saturday, May 25, 2024, while the group was travelling to perform at a wedding ceremony. Their vehicle, a Toyota Camry, collided head-on with a Benz car on the Accra-Apam highway. The accident resulted in severe injuries to K.K. Fosu and Bless, both suffering broken legs, with K.K. Fosu’s injuries particularly critical. Sadly, the crash also claimed the life of John Claude Tamakloe.
During his visit, Kwaku Manu was visibly moved by the advanced facilities and high standard of care at UGMC. He expressed his admiration for the medical centre’s state-of-the-art infrastructure and the medical care provided to the injured musicians.
