Speaking on Accra-based OKAY FM, Prophet Kumchacha expressed his dismay at the declining presence of physical Bibles, replaced by smartphones among congregants.
This shift, he believes, has inadvertently opened the door to accessing explicit content within the sacred space of the church.
“People don’t come to church with Bibles anymore. All they come along with is their phones. You’ll be shocked to note that while you ask for quotations, people will be watching pornography on their phones,” Kumchacha remarked.

He stressed the importance of vigilance and discernment among worshippers, cautioning against succumbing to activities that contradict the sanctity of the church environment.
Acknowledging the advancements of the modern era, Kumchacha reiterated the significance of upholding moral standards and preserving the sacredness of religious gatherings.
He called for a collective effort to maintain reverence and respect within the church, despite the technological influences of contemporary society.
In essence, Prophet Kumchacha’s concern underscores the imperative for worshippers to remain mindful of their actions and uphold the values integral to the sanctity of religious spaces, amidst the pervasive presence of digital devices.
