A turning point occurred just before the break when Scotland’s defender Ryan Porteous received a red card for a reckless tackle, leading to a penalty that Kai Havertz scored, bringing the score to 3-0.

In the second half, Germany continued to dominate. Niclas Füllkrug, who came on as a substitute, scored the fourth goal with an impressive shot into the top corner.

Even though Antonio Rüdiger accidentally scored against his own team, Emre Can sealed the game with his first goal for his country in seven years, making it 5-1.

Toni Kroos, Germany’s midfield genius, had an outstanding game, successfully making 101 out of 102 passes, which is nearly perfect.

He made 55 of those passes in just the first half alone. This victory gives Germany a great start as they get ready to play against Hungary on Wednesday in Stuttgart.
