Kofi Job Gyebi, a well-known road contractor based in Kumasi, has taken legal action against Frank Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as Appiah Stadium, a prominent member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The lawsuit, filed at the Kumasi High Court, seeks GH₵5 million in damages for defamation.
The CEO of Kofi Job Company Limited alleges that Appiah Stadium’s video, circulated on various social media platforms including TikTok, contained false statements that tarnished his reputation and subjected him to public embarrassment.
In the court documents, Kofi Job asserts that the misinformation spread by Appiah Stadium has adversely affected both his personal and professional standing, impacting his business operations.

In addition to the financial compensation sought, Kofi Job demands a public retraction and apology from Appiah Stadium, along with reimbursement for legal expenses.

Appiah Stadium, known for his vocal support of the NDC, is accused of making defamatory statements that portrayed Kofi Job as dishonest, corrupt, and negligent in his road construction endeavors.
Kofi Job maintains that these allegations are baseless and have caused significant harm to his reputation, causing him distress and humiliation.
The legal proceedings aim to address the damage caused by Appiah Stadium’s statements and restore Kofi Job’s credibility in the eyes of the public and his professional peers.
