Highlife musicians KK Fosu and Bless are currently in critical condition following a tragic accident on the Apam-Winneba road in the Central Region. The incident occurred on Saturday, May 25, 2024, as the duo travelled to Apam for a wedding performance.

The accident took place on the Accra-Apam highway, where the artists were en route to their destination. KK Fosu, known for his numerous hits, was accompanied by his colleague Bless, famed for the song “Cho Cho Mu Chu.” Their journey took a devastating turn when their vehicle was involved in a severe collision.

The crash resulted in both musicians sustaining critical injuries. Initially treated at a health facility in the Central Region, they were later transferred to a hospital in Accra due to the severity of their conditions. The medical team is closely monitoring their progress as they receive intensive care.
John Claude Tamakloe, a freelance journalist and part of the musicians’ entourage, died on the spot. Tamakloe’s sudden death has sent shockwaves through the media and entertainment communities, where he was highly respected and admired for his work.
Authorities are investigating the accident to determine its cause.
