“Peter Obi wants to be sweet to everybody, which is why they are licking him up,” Okonkwo stated. In contrast, Okonkwo described his style as more assertive. He also emphasized his inclination towards a more proactive strategy in political dealings.
Mr Okonkwo also criticized Mr Obi for allegedly failing to support organized labor, an affiliate of the LP, in their quest for improved minimum wage. He claimed that every member of the LP was confused about the future of the party because of the lack of leadership from the presidential candidate.
