Stabler and Fitzsimmons divorced in 1978 after three years of marriage. They did not have any children together.

Prior to marrying Fitzsimmons, Stabler was married to Isabel Clarke from 1968 to 1973. After the divorce from Fitzsimmons, Stabler got married to Rose Molly Burch in 1984. However, Stabler and Rose Molly Burch’s marriage ended in 2009.

Fitzsimmons’ husband, Ken Stabler, was a prominent American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL).

He was known for his exceptional passing skills, poise under pressure, and ability to lead his team to victory. He was a four-time Pro Bowl selection and was named the NFL Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 1974. Stabler led the Raiders to victory in Super Bowl XI in 1977, earning Super Bowl MVP honors.

Stabler earned the nickname “The Snake” for his elusive playing style and ability to slip away from defenders.

Stabler is regarded as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. He was known for his clutch performances and the deep respect he commanded from his teammates and opponents.

After retiring from professional football, Stabler pursued a career in sports broadcasting, where he provided commentary and analysis on NFL games.

Stabler died on July 8, 2015, at the age of 69.

Stabler was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016, posthumously recognizing his significant contributions to the sport.
