KB is a popular American Christian hip hop recording artist, songwriter and music executive.

Kevin Elijah Burgess, better known by his stage name KB was born on July 21, 1988, in St. Petersburg, Florida, the USA into a military family. Not much is known about his parents and family background.

Following his birth, KB’s parents moved to Southern Illinois where he was raised for eight years. Unfortunately, his parents divorced when he was just 8 years old and he was left to be raised by his mother in the south side of St. Petersburg.
