Actor Kanayo O. Kanayo shared his thoughts on marriage, saying he doesn’t think a man should only have one wife. In an interview on The Honest Bunch podcast with Nedu Wazobia, he talked about different things.

Kanayo said that as an African, he doesn’t agree with the idea of having just one wife. He believes this idea came from outside Africa and is not part of African culture or traditions.
He also spoke against pastors who tell people to give them their first earnings, called “first fruits.” He strongly believes that your first salary should go to your father, not your pastor, because your father is the one who raised you.
He said that having only one wife is not what Africans traditionally do. He also mentioned that everyone has their own power, like the Bible says, “Ye are gods.”
So, he considers himself a god too. And he thinks the first money you earn should be given to your dad.
