Kanayo O. Kanayo Boldly Claims He is Better than Denzel Washington

Kanayo O. Kanayo, a well-known veteran actor from Nigeria’s movie industry (Nollywood), has made a bold statement. He says he’s a better actor than Denzel Washington, the famous Hollywood star.

Kanayo believes being a good actor is very hard work. He says it takes a lot of effort, not giving up, energy, waiting patiently, and being very committed. He thinks all of these things are needed to be successful in acting.

In a talk with the Honest Bunch podcast, Kanayo compared himself to other famous actors. He said he’s like Arnold Schwarzenegger from Hollywood. He also said that even if an actor plays bad characters, it doesn’t mean they’re a bad actor.

Kanayo thinks Nollywood actors work very hard to make good movies. He says this is different from what we see in movies today.

He claims that if Denzel Washington worked as many hours as he does on a movie in Nigeria, Washington would be so tired his skin would turn dark like charcoal the next day.

Kanayo also talked about how American actors came up with the name ‘Nollywood’. He says they made this name because at first, they thought Nigeria’s movie industry was nothing special.

But then, Kanayo says, some Americans from New York came to learn about Nollywood. They were surprised by how fast Nigerian actors could make movies.

The Americans said it would take them a month to do what Nollywood actors do in a week. Kanayo says the Americans were impressed by how hard Nigerian actors work.
