The late Nollywood actor Jnr Pope Odowondo has been laid to rest in his hometown, Enugu.

This comes weeks after his untimely death in a tragic boat accident that also claimed the lives of some of his team members. The accident occurred on April 10, 2024, in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria.
The actor’s body arrived in Enugu and was laid in state on Friday morning. His burial took place later the same day.

Junior Pope Odonwodo was born on May 7, 1984, in Bamenda, Cameroon. He was known for his roles in films such as “Wrong Initiation” and “Honey Money.” He was married to Jennifer Awele Okpuno.
