Argentine forward Julian Alvarez has agreed personal terms with Spanish side Atletico Madrid ahead of his proposed transfer from Manchester City.

It is reported that Atletico Madrid had agreed to a deal worth up to €95 million for Julian Alvarez.
Julian Alvarez is currently aged 24 years and he is known to be one of the top performing young attackers in the Premier League. He bagged 19 goals and provided 13 assists in 54 games for Manchester City last season.

Alvarez joined the Premier League side from River Plate for €17 million in January 2022 and extended his contract last March until 2028.
If the deal goes through, the Argentina international will be Atletico Madrid’s third ssummer signing following defender Robin Le Normand from Real Sociedad and striker Alexander Sorloth from Villarreal.
Alvarez’s potential move to Atletico Madrid will firther strengthen their team and enable them compete actively with the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid for the La Liga title.
