Jordan Henderson’s absence was not too much of a surprise but for some people, they see no reason why the former Liverpool captain could not just make the provisional squad so that he will be taken out during the naming of the main squad.

Jordan Henderson’s position in the England national football team was very great but the likes of Kobbie Mainoo, Curtis Jones, Conor Gallagher and Declan Rice were given the nod over him.
The sad part of the Henderson story is that he left the Saudi Pro League to join Ajax in the Dutch Eredivisie to be more visible in the European scenes but the poor performance of Ajax did not help him in his quest to represent England in the 2024 Euros.
