John Mahama to Deliver Speech at 2nd Afro-Heritage Conference and Awards in Lagos

The ex-President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, is scheduled to address the second edition of the Afro-heritage Conference and Awards in Lagos, Nigeria, today, April 13, 2024.

The concept of establishing a prestigious and notable award to recognize individuals of African descent who have achieved outstanding success worldwide has become essential to promoting the African culture of excellence and advancing Afrocentrism.

The AfriHeritage 2024 will be Chair by the Former President of Botswana His Excellency, Lt. Gen. Dr. Seretse Khama Ian Khama.

Lagos, renowned as the Centre of Excellence, will be the venue for the second edition of the AfriHeritage Awards.

This decision reflects Nigeria’s status as the Giant of Africa, consistently exemplifying greatness and championing pan-African economic development.

John Mahama will advocate for African leaders to prioritize investment in young people, enabling them to innovate in ways that positively impact ordinary citizens across the continent.
