John Mahama Partners with Teachers’ Union to Improve Education Standards

Former Ghanaian President and National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, recently met with representatives from the National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) to finalize parts of the NDC’s education plan.

The meeting, held at Nagrat’s headquarters, aimed to gather feedback from the teachers’ union to ensure the NDC’s education policies meet the needs of educators nationwide.

Mahama discussed various education matters with Nagrat leaders, including teacher welfare, professional growth, curriculum improvements, and school infrastructure.

He stressed the pivotal role of educators in national development and pledged to prioritize their well-being and development to enhance Ghana’s education quality.

The meeting concluded with an agreement on key priorities for the NDC’s education agenda, including enhancing teacher training, improving learning outcomes, and tackling school infrastructure issues.

He thanked Nagrat for their input, assuring them that their concerns would shape the NDC’s manifesto.
