Actor-turned-farmer John Dumelo, who is contesting for the parliamentary seat in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency under the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has stepped in to address the pressing issue of water shortage at the University of Ghana’s new halls.

Students at the university have been grappling with limited access to water for several days, prompting Dumelo to take action. He organized the supply of tankers filled with water to the campus, providing much-needed relief to the affected students.

In a social media announcement, John Dumelo shared, “I responded to the plight of students on Legon campus today with regards to the water shortage. I hope this gesture will mitigate the situation until we find a permanent solution.”
