Portuguese promising attacker João Félix is determined to return to Barcelona for a second season and has officially turned down a move to Aston Villa, as reports reveal.

João Félix has rejoined Atlético Madrid for preseason but is currently training alone after falling out of Diego Simeone’s plans.
Despite Aston Villa’s strong interest and near completion of a transfer, João Félix has made it clear he only wants to move to Barça, the same strategy that saw him join the Catalan club on loan last year.

Atlético Madrid prefers a permanent deal rather than another loan and is keen to offload João Félix permanently.
However, the player remains optimistic he can persuade his club to accept a Barcelona offer as the transfer window nears its end.
Barçelona head coach Hansi Flick supports the move if it becomes a viable market opportunity, with sporting director Deco considering Félix if they don’t sign Nico Williams and Dani Olmo do not materialize.
