Jimmy Fallon is an American comedian, actor, television host, singer, writer, and producer who shot to fame for his impressions of Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, and Adam Sandler on Saturday Night Live.

James “Jimmy” Thomas Fallon Jr was born on September 19, 1974, in the Bay Ridge neighbourhood of Brooklyn, New York City, New York, the USA to parents, Gloria Feeley and James W. Fallon.

Jimmy Fallon’s father served in the Vietnam War and had worked as a machine repairman. Jimmy and his family later relocated to Saugerties, New York. He was raised alongside his elder sister, Gloria Fallon.

With regards to his education, Jimmy Fallon attended the Roman Catholic school, St. Mary of the Snow. He later proceeded to The College of Saint Rose, where he majored in Computer Science. He eventually switched the subject to Communication, receiving his BA in Communication on May 9, 2009, as well as an honorary degree from The College of Saint Rose.

Jimmy Fallon is currently the host of the popular late-night talk show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon which premiered on February 17, 2014, on NBC.  He won an Emmy Award for ‘Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for ‘Saturday Night Live’ in 2012. Jimmy was also awarded a Grammy Award for ‘Best Comedy Album’ for ‘Blow Your Pants Off’, in 2013.
