Representing North Carolina’s 14th congressional district in Congress since 2023 is American politician, lawyer, and former military officer Jeffrey Neale Jackson. He served as the Democratic Party’s senator for North Carolina’s 37th district from 2014 to 2022.

In 2002, Jackson registered for the United States Army Reserve. He was employed by Charlotte’s Womble Bond Dickinson as a commercial litigator. As a major in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps, Jackson is still active in the North Carolina Army National Guard.
Many TikTok users were surprised when Jackson, who frequently used the app, voted in favor of the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act in March 2024.
